International Office

A world of possibilities begins here.

To expand the academic and cultural opportunities available to SEPAM students, the International Office develops a range of initiatives focused on guidance, program development, and ongoing support for international educational experiences that connect our students with new possibilities around the world.

The Office’s work includes advising students who are interested in pursuing undergraduate studies abroad, as well as developing and organizing academic trips, university visits, language immersion programs, short- and long-term school exchanges, sports exchanges, partnerships with summer camps, international educational programs, and other experiences that contribute to students’ global education and personal development.

Experiences that go beyond the classroom

The International Office also supports international students who spend part of their school experience in Ponta Grossa, taking part in everyday school life and interacting with SEPAM students. In recent years, we have welcomed high school exchange students from different parts of the world, including Taiwan in Asia, Mexico in Latin America, and Germany and France in Europe. These experiences give our students the opportunity to engage with different cultures, languages, and perspectives within their own school environment.

Another important area of our work is supporting SEPAM students who are preparing to apply to universities abroad. The Office assists students with organizing application materials, understanding the different stages of the admissions process, and planning strategies related to international examinations and other application requirements.

Over a decade of partnership with Mizzou

SEPAM has also maintained an academic partnership with the University of Missouri for more than a decade through the Mizzou Academy High School Program. This program allows students to complete both the Brazilian and American curricula simultaneously and finish their secondary education with two diplomas: one Brazilian and one American.

More than simply providing opportunities to study or travel outside Brazil, the International Office seeks to broaden horizons, build meaningful connections, and bring our students closer to new possibilities for their academic future.

SEPAM — expanding opportunities for the academic future.
